She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Carol Nelson (Russell); and her husband Brian Lawton. She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Anderson (Tausha), Matthew Lawton (Briana) and Tyler Lawton; her close friend Bruce Oertelt Jr.; and her siblings, Regina Nelson, Don Nelson and Bob Nelson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
