He is survived by: his wife LaVena Paton Parrish; his children, Paton Garland (Cathy) of Ardmore, OK, Michael John (Pam) of Temple, OK and Lu Ann of Bella Vista, AR; his stepsiblings, Melvin Sexton of Moore, OK and Maxine Ernest of Wichita Falls, TX; his grandchildren, Doug Parrish of Walters, OK, Charles Parrish of Oklahoma City, OK, Autumn Langford (Lucky) of Norman, OK, Nathan Parrish of Del City, OK, Jared Parrish of Forney, TX and Luke Durbin (Holly) of Lowell, AR; and his great grandchildren, Ceara, Cal, Brinley, Danyca, Avett John, Lucy, Kilee and Emma. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2006 W Missouri, Walters, OK 73572). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
