He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Dixon, Sr. and Lillie Mae Dixon (Keene); his wife Anna Michels; and his sister Georgia Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Evelyn Neal of Greenville and Dorothy Bunn of Kingsport, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Grayson Pate Neal (Ashley Qualls) of Moore, Kelsey Catherine Smiley (Chris) of Charlotte, Philip Dane Bunn (Emma) of Hixson and Chandler Victoria Scarbrough (Josh) of York; his great grandchildren, Malcom Judah "Juju" Smiley, Penelope Jayne Bunn, Vincent David Bunn and Malachi Christopher "Mac" Smiley; and his brother Carroll Dixon (Delores) of Brookhaven, Mississippi. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
