He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor Sr. and Pearlie Mae Taylor (Gann); his wife Amy Taylor; his children, Cynthia Balmas and Wiliam "Eddie" Taylor, III; and his son-in-law Frank Sales.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy (Joe English), Linda (Steve Del Ciello) and Helen Sales; his grandchildren, Catherine Nivens (Heather Taylor), Chuck Taylor (Billy Balmas), Chad McConnell (Nick), Candice McConnell (Alexis), Anthony Croff (Ashley), Andrew Florea (Alicia), Aaron Horn (Scott), Jenny McAllister (Franklin Sales) and Alexander Sales (Eric Sales); his sister Pat Ritter; and his niece Susan Schaffer. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
