He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Wright; his children, Deana Astiz (Jason) of Bedford, Texas and Shane Thomas of Lone Grove; his grandchildren, Katelyn Alexis Astiz and Mason Thomas; and his great grandchild Madilyn Danielle (Gayle Shiflett).
