He is survived by: his wife Carla Massengale; his daughters, Kala Idleman (John) of Stratford, Erin Schier of Norman and Kasi Amrein (Shane) of Moore; his siblings, Mary Keck of Edmond, Paula Perkins (Jim) of Midwest City, Clifford Massengale (Joann) of Lexington and Ron Massengale (Becky) of Arkansas; his brother-in-law Toby Richardson; his grandchildren, Kara Wilson (Morgan) of Pauls Valley, Duke Davenport of Elmore City, Braeden Schier of Norman, Kaetlen Schier of Norman and Andelynn Amrein of Moore; and his great grandchildren, Deklynn Wilson and Brynlee Wilson.

Memorials may be made to the Surinam Mission at First Baptist Church in Lexington.
