He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindy Leonard Sterling and Margie Lou Sterling (Mattox); his wife Ora Sterling; and his sister Linda Sterling. He is survived by: his siblings, Winford Sterling of Tulsa, OK, Lynn Dale Sterling of Laguna Hills, CA, Donna Mooney (David) of Purcell, Sharon Martin of Inman, SC and Karla Sterling of Estes Park, CO; and his stepchildren, Jessie Payne and Jessica Payne of Oklahoma.
