With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Dale Martin (Lexington, Oklahoma), born in Lindsay, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 2, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin and Mary Martin; and his siblings, Don Martin, Billy Martin, Maggie Brooks, Pauline Spivey Ince, Frances Watson, Mary Hall and Lois Belvin.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Martin; his children, Russell Jones (Valerie), Brandon Jones of Lexington, Shane Martin of Healdton, Oklahoma, Tina Heffington (Dwayne), Sherry Nance (Chad) and Shena Jones; and his sister Judy Newton. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (900 E Broadway St, Lexington, OK 73051).
