With sadness, we share the passing of Jo Dane Rhame in Lexington, Oklahoma. Jo, born on August 31, 1937, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Rhame; her parents, Howard Jackson Holdsclaw and Magnolia Holdsclaw (Jenkins); and her sister Loretta Priest. She is survived by: her son Jeffery Hartley (Kristi) of Littleton, Colorado; her brothers, James Holdsclaw of Oklahoma City and Howard Holdsclaw, Jr. of Wooster, Ohio; and her grandsons, Conner Hartley and Tanner Hartley. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Her lifelong commitment to learning and her contributions to education, technology, and the nonprofit sector will continue to inspire those who knew her. In lieu of flowers Jo Dane requested that donations be made to: Maysville Cemetery perpetual care fund, % Winans Funeral Home, P O Box 515, Maysville, Oklahoma 73057Viewing will be Friday, July 10, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Graveside.
