Russell Bennett Shea Obituary
Russell Shea age 8 of Lexington, passed away at his home on February 10, 2025. Russell Bennett Shea was born on November 28, 2016 in Norman, OK to Laramie Colt Shea and Krystal Lynn Cook. Russell grew up in Lexington and attended Noble Schools. He loved to laugh and had a giggle that could light up a room. Though he faced adversity in his health, he found joy in little everyday things. At school he liked the bouncy house and playing with cars, at home he loved to watch Tom & Jerry and Bluey. Russell loved his dogs who looked out for him, and liked anything to do with dinosaurs. Russell brought joy to those around him, and was loved deeply by his family.
He was preceded in death by his great grandma Vera Mitchell, and great uncle Roy Woodruff.
He is survived by his father Laramie Shea, and his mother Krystal Tennyson. His grandparents Bill Shea, Hazel Shea, and his uncle Destrie Shea. He also leaves behind a dedicated team of health professionals, teachers, and caregivers who enriched his life and tended to his every need. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Shelby Home Health and Noble Public Schools for their unwavering dedication to his care and wellbeing.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 am -7:00 pm Thursday February 13, 2025 at Wilson-Little Purcell, the family will receive guests and friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday evening.
