She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sumpter, Jr. and Letha Faye Sumpter (Boettler); her husband Arthur Cowley; and her siblings, Michael Sumpter, George Sumpter, III and Laura Sumpter.
She is survived by: her sons, Jason Cowley (Julie) and Matthew Cowley (Darla); her sisters, Kathy Hassler of Lindsay and Hazel Garrison of Lindsay, Oklahoma; and her niece Christie Perry. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
