He was loved and cherished by many people including: his niece Reba; his parents, Ella Mae Slay and Willis Doyle Slay; his siblings, Enoch Slay, Lois Sumpter and Yvonda Reed; his brother-in-law Don Martin; his great-nephew Liam Phillip Harrison; his sister Pat Martin; his sister-in-law Barbara Slay; and his brothers, Buddy Slay (Diane) and Boyd Slay (Sheila). He was also cherished by friends and a whole host of nieces and nephews.
