He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Lou Swires and Domer Eugene Covel; his son Sean Michael Covel; and his brothers, Darrell Covel and Gary Covel.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Carie; his grandsons, Austin, Justin and Seth Raborn; his granddaughter-in-law Nayeli; and his great grandchildren, Lance, Greyson and Marina Raborn. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Frye Chapel (633 N 7th St, Blythe, CA 92225).
