He is survived by: his wife Linda Mitchell; his children, Patrick Shane Mitchell (Kimberly) of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Cyndi Mitchell of Lindsay, Oklahoma; his brother Robert Lee McVay (Kaye) of Blanchard, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Meghan Mitchell, Cody of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Siarrah Mitchell of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Arianna Mitchell of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Patrick Dalen Mitchell (Allison) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Taylor McGuire (Jake) of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Tylar Mitchell of Lindsay, Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Codan Cordell, Cole Cordell, Case "Bucky" Cordell, Haizlee Mitchell, Tommy Cooper, Charleigh Burgess, Kambri Cooper, Lily Mitchell, Shealynn Knowles, Collin Knowles, Emma Knowles, Theodore "Teddy" McGuire, Banks McGuire and Shepherd McGuire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (410 W Chickasaw St, Lindsay, OK 73052).
