He is survived by: his daughters, LaNora, Amber Simmons (Jacob) of Rose, Sabrina Cogburn (John) of Midlothian and Janessa Rice of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his siblings, Dennis Rice of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Donna Weaver (Randy) of Locust Grove, Debhora "Deb" Bodien (John) of Tahlequah and Elaine Harvey (George) of Newport, Michigan; his grandsons, Jace, Austin, Aiden Simmons, Cutter and Jaxon Cogburn; and his pet Minnie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service (1204 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74362). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Four Corners Church (4101 E 640 Rd, Locust Grove, OK 74352). A burial was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the Gray Cemetery N 387 Rd.
