She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Franklin Danderson and Ines Cliptoy Danderson (Stanford); her husband Robert Henry Nelson; her siblings, Arnold Danderson, Bobby Danderson, Billy Danderson and Louise Hamil; and her grandson Daniel John Logan.
She is survived by : her children, Donald Ray Summers of Locust Grove and Andrea Cakora (Nathan) of Pryor; her grandchildren, Heather Caldwell (Anthony) of Locust Grove, Alex Nelson (Kim) of Locust Grove, Hannah Logan (Austin) of Pryor and Lyanie Yarlotte of Pryor; and her sisters, Mary Sales of Tulsa, Helen Benchoff of Pryor, Betty Curtis (Ron) of Broken Arrow, Ruby Danderson of Pryor, Judy Barnes of Tulsa and Teri Smith of Adair. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Joyce was part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and a member of the Red Hatters Society and was of the Christian faith.
