He is survived by : his parents, Rex Dale Chancellor of Salina, Oklahoma and Vicki Ann Chance of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; his children, Rex Thomas Chancellor, Jr., Thomas Chancellor, Lexi Dale Chancellor and Rosaleena Ann Chancellor; his sister Melissa Ann Reed (Barry) of Pryor, Oklahoma; and his grandmother Carol Chance of Locust Grove, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.

“I love my cousin and will miss him. I do have many sweet and funny memories of him throughout the years. A more recent one was when mom asked what kind of cake Rex wanted for his birthday and Rex Thomas said strawberry, because that's what he wanted. I made a strawberry cake! ; ) One year, when he was about 4 or 5, he, Rex and Grandpa were running late for Thanksgiving and the brown and serve rolls had gotten hard and Rex T asked Grandpa how do you crack these things! He had a perfect little pumpkin once and grandma Suzanna told him she was going to make it into a pie. He carried it around and never set it down and kept his eye on grandma. There are a million more memories that I will cherish. Rest now Rex Thomas. We will all be together again. I love you.”
