With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wayne Arnold Warthen (Lone Grove, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Gordon Warten and Rena Belle Chitwood; his sister Betty Jean; his wife Jackie; his son Gary Gene; and his brothers, Charles Lee and Billy Marvin Warthen.
He is survived by: his sibling Jaunita Louise; his children, Andy Ward and Sherry Reed Johnson; his son-in-law Kendall Johnson; his siblings, Barbara Wallace (Homer) of Bedford, TX and Ray Warthen (Pat Ziobro) of Bethel Island, CA; his caregiver Janice Warthen-Shockey; and his grandchildren, Jason, Aaron Johnson, Tamera Ward and Sara Ward Tate. He is also survived by twelve beautiful great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
While his employment kept him busy, he made time to start his own company, SPS (Security Patrol Systems), which provided security at businesses throughout Central, Eastern and Southeastern OK, including what was then, Noble Foundation.
