He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Taylor and Tillie Taylor (Vargas-Garcia); and his siblings, Frank Taylor, Mary Hernandez, Eddie Taylor, Johnie Garcia and Rosie Almeda.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Taylor (Shirley); his brothers, Joe Garcia, Jimmy Taylor and Mike Taylor; and his children, Steven Hurrieta, Connie Wilson, Anthony Taylor and Rosa Taylor-Dykes. He is also survived by his children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Longdale.
