He is survived by: his wife Linda Abernathy of Madill; his children, Ronald Steve Chewning, Jr. of Canton, Carl Wayne Abernathy, Jr. of Madill and Catherine Rae Bennett of Madill; his grandchildren, Kara, Ethan, Celeste, Christopher, Alisha and Angel; and his great grandchildren, Octavia Rose, Avery Blake and Lulu Capps.
