He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Lee and Pearl Ellen Eppler (Armstrong); and his son Russell Duane Eppler (Rusty). He is survived by: his son Mitch Lemuel Eppler; his wife Barbara Lou Eppler; his daughter Rachelle Chapman; and his grandchildren, Omer "Duane" Eppler, Amber Joy Eppler, Chad Eppler, Brock Eppler, Weston, Candy Chapman, Jessica and Jonah Douglas. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
