He is survived by: his wife Rose Sparkman; his sons, Worth Sparkman (Ronie) of Fayetteville and Brent Gates (Heather) of Selbyville, Delaware; his grandchildren, Blayne Gates (Morgan), Gavin Gates, Shane Sparkman and Gray Sparkman; and his close friend Danny Avery.
