With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Carter (Mangum, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Roy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Roy. Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Carter and Mary Carter (Burgon). He is survived by: his children, Tepesh Carter and Hayleigh Carter; his wife Silvia Carter; and his siblings, Luther Carter, Tim Carter, David Carter and Carol Royse.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greer Funeral Home (235 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mangum, OK 73554). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greer Funeral Home Chapel (235 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mangum, OK 73554). A burial was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Roselawn Cemetery.
