He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Trotter and Pearline Wren-Reed; his grandparents, Elder William Wren and Katie Wren; his wife Willie Elizabeth Lane; his son Randy Davis; and his granddaughter Tera Nicole Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Lamont Lane (Melody), Earnesten Lanette Chase (Gary), Tammey Laraine Lane, William Vance Lane Jr. (Kisha), Tracey Lanell Jones (Ervin), Kelli Ann King (Earnest), Tangela Monique Carter and Timothy Zaccheus Joshua Lane. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greer Funeral Home (235 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mangum, OK 73554). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mangum (228 N Oklahoma Ave, Mangum, OK 73554). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at the Riverside Cemetery (115 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mangum, OK 73554).
