He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Debs Gilstrap and Mary Ruby Stephens; and his siblings, Faye Breuer, Rev. Jean Allison, Bill Gilstrap, Phyllis Martin and Wayne Gilstrap.
He is survived by: his wife Deyanira Gilstrap; his sister Rita Miller (Larry); his stepchildren, Corbin Gilstrap and Tara O'Neill; his stepgrandchildren, Joel, Adelaide, Brygette and Alexander; his stepchildren, Ria Bremmer (Mark) and Jeffrey Gilstrap (Sarah Beilke); his stepgrandchildren, Owen, Natalie and Maya; his stepson Fred Gonzalez; his stepgrandchild Miya; his stepdaughter Martha Allensworth (Ryan); his stepgrandchildren, Addison and River; his stepson Enoch Gonzalez (Marianne); his stepgrandchildren, Kenzie, Tegan and Logan; his stepchild Amneh Kuhn (Martin); and his stepgrandchildren, Sebastian and Savanna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
