He was predeceased by: his parents, C. A. "Buddy" Young and Norma Young (McCage); his grandmother Bettie McCage (Martin); his spouse Lufern Bearden; his brother Bill Young; and his mother-in-law Jewell Bearden.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Alford (Carl) of Thackerville, Charlyn Scott (Bob) of Thackerville, Bob Young of Thackerville and Joe Don Young (Sue) of Thackerville; his grandchildren, Tracie Alford Fincher (Eric), Chuck Scott (Cindy), Dustin Scott (Jessica), Chase Scott, Justin Young (Jill), Amber Young Webb (Brad), Jodie Young and Jacie Young Murray (John); and his friend Linda Briggs.
