We announce the death of Jim Lynn Thompson (Marietta, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 81. Jim will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leon and Margaret Edna Thompson (Schwerdtfeger); and his brothers, Benny, Danny and Monty.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jocile George; his children, Patricia (Dave) and Michael (Wendi); and his sisters, Sheila and Phoebe. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
