It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Burt Burns (Marlow, Oklahoma), who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Jonah Burns (Pedro) and Flora Ida Mae Burns (Wright); and his siblings, Manetha Justice, Anna Mae Fulton, Charlie Burns and David Burns.
He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Warren; his wife Suzanne Harper; his daughter Emily Burns-Bradley (Martin Bradley); his grandchildren, Matthew Burns and Jordan Burns-Gonzales; his sisters, Dovie Thompson (John Wayne Thompson) and Geraldine Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Tanya Burns, Vicki Burns and Bruce (Justice).
In lieu of flowers, Bill would have appreciated donations made to advancing research on rare cancers with the American Cancer Society.
