He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Leo and Mary Charlene Abney (McLearen); and his siblings, Lynda Sweat, Robbie Inda and Ricky Abney.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Abney; his children, Zachary Abney and Amanda Abney; his granddaughters, Ashlynn Abney and Jaymee Abney; and his sister Dianna Littrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
