He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Murphy and Margaret Murphy (Williams); and his wife Diane Murphy. He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Hekia of Marlow, Heidi Denton of Phoenix and Jennifer Orso of Gladwin; and his sisters, Barbara Smith of Morgantown and Sandra Ault of Morgantown. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
