We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, at the age of 88, Jerry Wallace Carnell of Marlow, Oklahoma, born in Bemis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Michael W. Carnell and John Steven Carnell; his sister Mary H. Reeves (Johnny Sue Palmer); his great grandchild Ryleigh J. Malone; his mother Beulah Mae Hannis (Mainers); his stepfather James Hannis Sr.; his father John Otis Carnell; and his stepmother Alene Carnell.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Carnell; his children, Jerry Wayne Carnell (Kathy) of Duncan, Pamela Rosetta Cannaday (Kevin K.) of Burleson, TX and Kimberly Cheryl Jordan (Tommy R.) of Rush Springs; his siblings, James A. Hannis Jr. of Jackson, TN, E. O. "Tiny" Carnell of Henderson, TN, Robert Odell Carnell of Henderson, TN, Ronnie Carnell of Henderson, TN, Ralph Carnell of Henderson, TN, Louise Bayers of Tombs, TN, Alice Shields of Boliver, TN, Trudy Hopper of Tennessee, Troyce Taylor of Tennessee and Anita Daniels of Tennessee; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Carnell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Service (415 W Main St, Marlow, OK 73055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Assembly of God (800 S 6th St, Marlow, OK 73055).
