With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerry Don Hunter (Marlow, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zora Bell Hunter (Betty Hunter) and Jess Hunter; his daughter Deborah Gayle Rodgers; his grandson Hunter Blaine; and his siblings, Glen Hunter, Jess Hunter Jr., Earl Hunter and Lois Wood.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gayla Schone (Max) and Lisa Blaine (Darrell); his son-in-law John Rodgers (Diana); his grandchildren, John, Denise Rodgers, Michelle, Jim Greene, Kandyce, Jermelle Cudjo, Chase, Taylor Rodgers, Wade Schone, Krista, Joshua Hallman, Jarilyn Blaine and William Blaine; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jared Ainsworth, Alex Rodgers, Kyndell Rodgers, Charlie Greene, Harris Greene, Ria Grace Cudjo, Judah Cudjo, Ramey Rodgers, Reid Rodgers, Andrew Hallman, Elliott Hallman and Elizabeth Hallman; his great great grandchildren, Calvin Ainsworth, Eli Ainsworth, Cece Rodgers and Harlem Williams; his sisters, Evelyn McBee, Eva Smith, Susie Beavers (Harold) and Patrica Parker (John); and his sister-in-law Michelle Hunter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Central High Baptist Church (7001 W. Broncho Road, Central High, OK).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jerry's honor to the building fund for Central Baptist Church west of Marlow.
