He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Gatlin and Ruth Gatlin; his brother-in-law Charles Waters; and his niece Tammy. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his brother Robert "Bob" Gatlin of Tulsa; his son Colby Ames (Malinda Gatlin) of Gardner; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Wyatt and Walker; his son-in-law Jerry Rogers of Marlow; his grandson William "Billy" (Kate Smith) of Tulsa; his great grandchildren, Maryn, Hudson, Benjamin and Maggie; his nephew Mike (Juli Gatlin); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chelsee and Tanner. He is also survived by "Papaw" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church-Marlow (213 N Broadway St, Marlow, OK 73055). The inurnment will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the TBD Duncan Municipal Cemetery (1910 W Cypress Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
