The passing of Velma Adkins of Marlow, Oklahoma leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Custer and Ivus Ritta Sharp (White); her husband Walter Charles Adkins; and her brother Delton Sharp. She is survived by: her children, Charles Dean Adkins of Marlow, Dale White (Lisa) of Yukon, Alma Leigh Storey (David) of Marlow and Sharon Kay Adkins (Wade Walker); her grandchildren, Cory Bowman (Melissa), Jenilee Copeland (Jimmy), Cara Jo Lovett (Brett), Lindsey Elroy (Matt), Gary White, Sara Tyree and Greg White; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Casen, Easton, Raelyn, Paisley, Adelyn, Breckyn, Maverick, Millie, Kellyn, Gary, Wynter and Ezra; and her sibling's children, Russel Sharp (Wynama), Della Yoder, Denise Chaney, Diane Woodall (Ray) and Mona Henderson (Brett). She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home (415 W Main St, Marlow, OK 73055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glory Bound Church (1109 N Broadway St, Marlow, OK 73055).
