Walter Morgan Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Walter Morgan (Marlow, Oklahoma) is shared. Walter, born on August 13, 1941, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grant Morgan and Jewel Viola Swinney Morgan; his son Kevin Dean Morgan; his granddaughter Diane Michele Morgan; his son-in-law Frank Muratori; his parents-in-law, Dottie and Robert Kuehnert; and his siblings, Francis Marie Morgan-Roberts, Bobby Morgan, Earl Morgan and Jack Morgan.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Morgan; his children, Walter Alan Morgan, Terrie Jean Grimstead-Smith (Tim Smith), Michele Marie Morgan Dewyea (Mike Dewyea), Donald De'wayne Morgan (Jamie Morgan) and Cyndi Diane Morgan-Muratori; his daughter-in-law Betty Morgan; and his brother-in-law Michael Lawrence Ford. He is also survived by 50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Service (415 W Main St, Marlow, OK 73055). The military honors was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Fort Sill. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church (4179 County Street 23707).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either of the following organizations in Walt's memory: INTEGRIS Health Hospice House: Donations support compassionate hospice care for patients and their families.
