He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabel Ruiz and Francisco Ruiz Sr.; and his siblings, Carlos Ruiz, Francisco "Franky" Ruiz Jr. and Cristina Ruiz.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Cathy Scott; his children, Melynda Ruiz, Dena Winters, Amanda Ruiz, Michael "Mikey" Ruiz Jr. and Heather Sadler; and his grandchild LaKeynn Grace.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lowell-Tims Chapel (1100 E Tamarack Rd, Altus, OK 73521). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Altus City Cemetery (2400 Falcon Rd, Altus, OK 73521).
