It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Washburn of Maud, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Washburn and Ora Washburn (Hulin); his wife Margie Nell Washburn; his siblings, Walter (Chubby Washburn), Charlie (Helen Washburn), Darrell Washburn, Loren Washburn and Bernice; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Young and Carolyn Washburn.

He is survived by: his children, Sandra Beese (Rodney) and Russell Washburn (Becky Kay); his grandchildren, Aaron Beese, Kimberly Washburn, Stacy Washburn and Kevin Washburn; his great grandchildren, Bethany Williams, John Kobe, David Kobe, James Washburn, Sullivan Motte, Beckett Washburn, Parker Washburn and Juniper Beese; his siblings, Orval Washburn (Joyce), Eldon Washburn and Janean Washburn; and his sisters-in-law, Francis Washburn and Velma Washburn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
