He is survived by: his sons, Dan Pate of Lubbock, Larry Pate, Terry of Newcastle and Don Pate; and his son-in-law Tommy Preast of Maysville, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
