She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John D. Simerman; her parents, Carl H. Laemmli and Gertrude C. Laemmli (Vitt); her brothers, Eugene C. Laemmli and Carl H. Laemmli, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara and Marlene.
