He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester J. Shores and Edna Marie Shores (Terry); his daughter Karen Rae Shores Robbins; and his siblings, Luveta Nickell, Russell Shores, Kenneth Shores, Jimmy "Jim" Shores and Wilburn Shores.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Shores (Wilson) of McAlester; his son Ronald Shores (Cheryl) of Seminole; and his siblings, Shirleen Roark of Idaho, Kathy Schiwart (Kenny) of Wilburton, Judy Shores of Wilburton and Marvin Shores (Pat) of California. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
