She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Young Smith and Roberta Wade; her former husband Clarence Ellis, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Catherine Price, Jacqueline "Netta" Mitchell, Bernadine Shaw, Deborah Cotton, Jean Riley, Vance and Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Marcus Tarin Ellis (Stacy) of McAlester and Patricia Annette Ellis (Jason) of McAlester; her husband Maurice Bowers; her granddaughter Raiven Humphrey; and her great grandchild Aiyden Trahan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.
