It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette Regina Mathis of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bette Griffith (Everidge) and Earl William Griffith; and her stepfather Andrew Santine. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Mathis (Dawn) of Natchez, James Mathis of McAlester and Clifford Mathis of Arkansas; her grandchildren, William Mathis (Emily) of Mandeville, Amanda Mathis, Michael Foster of Brookhaven and Jessica Mathis of Texarkana, Arkansas; her great grandchildren, Ava Foster, Raelyn Foster and Miles Mathis; and her siblings, Vincent Santine of Tulsa, Patti Santine (Stephen Williams) of McAlester, David Santine (Billie Jean) of McAlester and Clem Santine (Jayna) of McAlester. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
