She was predeceased by: her parents, David "Slim" Bernard Mitchell and Margaret "Kitty" Katherine Mitchell (Kirkendoll); and her daughter Tina Mize Christian. She is survived by: her children, Randy Mize, Ricky Mize, Margaret Schwieger and Robert Mize; and the father of her children Randall Mize (Darla). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the North Town Cemetery.
