She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Compelube and Ruby Compelube (Royston); her son Norvel J. Lewis, Jr.; her grandson Robert F. Long, Jr.; and her siblings, Jimmy Compelube, Tina Weeks and Corina Compelube.
She is survived by: her daughter Donetta Lewis; her daughter-in-law Kim Lewis; her granddaughters, Katie Clement (Brandon) and Rachel Lundy (Alex); and her sister Sharon Walters. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
