She was predeceased by: her parents, John Houston and Ellen Elizabeth Honea (Armstrong); her siblings, Bill Shaffer, Sr. and Margie A. Fremen; and her nephew Bill Shaffer, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Ince of McAlester; her grandchildren, Rusty, Andrea, Liz and Nicholas; and her sister Delbra "Debbie" Proe (Donnie) of Crowder. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Brenda enjoyed crocheting and knitting and would donate her creations to nursing homes and people in need.
