It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lester Adkins of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Thomas Adkins and Ruby Marie Adkins (Smith); his daughter Kristy Adkins; and his siblings, Roy Lee Adkins, Jerry Dale Adkins and Mary Lucille Haney.
He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Dedmon of Henryetta and Carol Leonard of McAlester; and his son Robert Adkins of McAlester. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
