She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Helem McGill and Edward Brown; her son Christopher "Bubba" Ryan Helem; and her sister Sandra Helem. She is survived by: her daughters, Christel Helem, Sarita Moaning-Helem and Crystal Moaning-Helem; her siblings, Michael Helem, Vincent Brown, Stephanie Johnson, Barbara Smitherman, Tanya Brown and Etta Brown; her sister-in-law Antionette Helem; and her sister Connie Herron.
