It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Mellor Jr. of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Mellor, Sr. and Elzie Mellor (Ussery); and his daughter Jodi Mellor. He is survived by : his children, Billy Mellor (Susan), Vanessa Latvala (Chris) and Megan Ervin (Jimmie Pink); his grandchildren, Lauren Mellor, Gemma, Genevieve, Harrison Latvala and Josephine "Josie" Pink; his sister Alice Shirley; his nieces, Tracey Hobbs and Kim Grant; his nephew George "David" Shirley; his cousin Betty Weeks; and his caregiver Jana Oliver.
