Grant B. Grumbine III Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grant B. Grumbine III (McAlester, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Grant leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Grant may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Cox and Josephine Grumbine (Romero); his son Troy Grumbine; and his brother Luis Henry Grumbine. He is survived by: his wife Kay Grumbine; his son Steven Grant Grumbine of Ozark, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hannah Lane Grumbine and David Grant Grumbine; and his sisters, Jolita Williams of Beebe and Levita Shea (Don) of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and a host of friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 325 E. Washington, McAlester, OK 74501 (in memory of Grant B. Grumbine III), namely The Food Pantry, Compassion Committee, or Congressional Life.
