He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hearod and Rachel Lee Hearod (Edmonds); his siblings, Dorothy Ketchum and Bill Hearod, Sr.; and his father-in-law Buddy Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Hearod; his daughters, Kelsey Hearod, Cherron Oakley (Rich) and Crysti York-Hearod; his grandchildren, Kyah Hearod, Anna Marie Oakley, Will Oakley, Nick York and Jake York; his sisters, Minnie Crenshaw, Brinda Grigsby (Dewey) and JoAnn Whitfield (Dennis); his siblings-in-law, Don Ketchum (Alice) and Carolyn Hearod; and his mother-in-law Barbara Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bishop Chapel of Memories (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501).
